Sophie Efkarpidis has always been a creative soul; she started by pulling the paints out on a sunny day, her drawing journal and pencils never too far for a quick sketch. She was always making handmade gifts for family and friends, creating pieces purely for the love of art. She found that leaning into playfulness with paints and feeling the freedom that art creates, she connected even more to herself and those around her. Thus began the story of Sonny Studio; furthering that reach, the joys and simplicity of good art, and having the chance to give people something that feeds their souls and brightens their spaces.

Growing up with Greek and Italian heritage, Sophie saw the power of colours, foods and love that can flow. Around her were makers, people who loved to use their hands and were always at work in some way; this passed down through Sophie to use her hands to create joy through her art. Delving into that heritage, as well as through her travels, Sonny Studio is about celebrating the lifestyle through beautiful and unique pieces.
